Raphael House Hermitage is gracefully constructed, private, and quiet. Located east of the main house, the Hermitage features a private garden space and deck, with views to the lake and mountains.  Inside the guest will find a fully equipped kitchen; living, dining, and study areas; separate bedroom with storage and queen-sized bed; a full bath.  Wireless hi-speed internet is available and there is additional sleeping accommodation (for one) available in the living room if needed.  All linens are provided.

Hermitage residents normally prepare their own meals.  On occasion and by special arrangement, Hermitage residents may take their meals in the main house.

The Hermitage is available for private retreat and also as accommodation for participants in group retreats.  In general, the summer months are reserved for vacationers, see Vacation Rental, while the Spring, Fall, and Winter are used for retreats.  Click here for rates and availability.

Spring, Fall: Sept. 10-Nov. 15 and March 16-June 21: $95 per night
Winter: November 16-March 15: $75 per night

Guests on extended stays, such as sabbaticals, receive rate reduction.  Please contact us for more information.
